What: Growing Your Future is a one day careers event for grade 9 students from all three educational sectors aiming at promoting knowledge of and exposure to a wide range of outdoor/environmentally based occupations and industries.

Students are able to choose their top five preferred activities and those preferences are allocated to three hands on activities during the day, led by professionals in the areas. They are also able to speak with a range of other presenters and professionals during the lunch break.

We have new partners on board this year, with presenters including DPIPWE's Water and Parks divisions, St John's Ambulance and the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.

When:
10.00am to 2.00pm, Friday 12th April

Venue:
Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens

Aimed at:
Enthusiastic, engaged grade 9 students who have an interest in the environment or the outdoors
